My new website

I have attracted an encouraging amount of foreign work.  As a result of this I joined UKTI Passport to Export programme, which I recommend to any business with an export element.  I received a free analysis of my website as a result of which I have relaunched my website as  www.purelyprobate.com, with links back to .co.uk.

It all took much longer than it should have done but I am pleased with the outcome, and this morning I got an enquiry for foreign work (ironically from within the UK) directly from the site.

What a palaver it is writing website content, everything has to have internal links, there are lots of pages which have to be clearly marked and indexed.  It should be one person’s job who just focusses on that for a few weeks.  But no, it’s just me ably helped by my web designer, but in the end the content and sign off are mine.  One of the joys of running a small business is not having many people to whom one can delegate.

The best thing about running a small business is learning all about how to do everything….and then delegating. That way you find out, using your personal experience, who is doing the job properly….very satisfying. TW I don’t suppose you heard the radio 4 programme tonight about privacy (or lack of it) on social media and apps?…very scary :( Also something abit wrong with how your blog is set up…call me and I’ll explain :)
